wir haben uns entschlossen Blogr per 30.09.2010 einzustellen. Wir können und möchten die Qualität, Performance und Innovation die wir für notwendig halten, einen Service wie Blogr zu betreiben nicht mehr aufbringen.
Als Web-Agentur in Wien und Urgestein der Blogger-Szene war Blogr für uns eine Möglichkeit, unsere Software (twoday_media) in Real-Life-Umgebung zu testen und dabei zu lernen. Unser Ziel war, das Thema "Blogs" weiter zu entwickeln - und das haben wir ein gutes Stück erreicht. Es gab viele ähnliche Anläufe anderer Firmen, nicht zuletzt die heute dominierenden Social Networks, die im Kern noch immer die Grundgedanken des Bloggens (Schreiben, Linken, Chronologie) in sich tragen. Darauf sind wir stolz und es hat uns viel Freude gemacht, an diesem Entwicklungsprozess teil gehabt zu haben.
Ein wichtiger Teil dieses Prozesses ist es jedoch, sich von den Dinge die nicht (mehr) erfolgreich sind zu trennen.

Dear Blogr users,we have decided to close Blogr with September 30th 2010. We no longer have the capacities to keep up the quality, performance and innovation we consider necessary to operate a service like Blogr.
For us as a web agency in Vienna and veterans of the blogger scene, Blogr was an opportunity to test our software (twoday media) in real life situations and to gain new insights. Our goal was to further develop the subject of blogs and we were able to make significant progress in this area. Other companies were making several similar attempts, not least today’s dominating social networks which are basically built on the fundamental idea of blogging (writing, linking, chronology). We feel proud of this and are happy that we were able to contribute to this development.
However, an important part of this process is to say goodbye to things that are not (or no longer) successful.
