Estados Unidos. Interval International, importante proveedor mundial de servicios vacacionales que forma parte del Interval Leisure Group, celebrará una Conferencia sobre Inversión en Propiedad Compartida los días 31 de mayo y 1 de junio en el Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, en Bridgetown, Barbados. Interval creó la Conferencia en 1988 para educar a desarrolladores, hoteleros y entidades de crédito en torno a modelos de negocios de propiedad compartida, y ha patrocinado muchas reuniones similares en todo el mundo.

David C. Gilbert, vice presidente ejecutivo de ventas de resorts y marketing de Interval Internacional, destacó que eventos anteriores han atraído a miles de asistentes interesados en la propiedad compartida y que las conferencias de Interval están hoy reputadas entre las más prestigiosas del sector.

“Esperamos dar a los delegados la oportunidad de contactar con expertos de la industria y conocer acerca de las tendencias regionales y los temas claves que influyen en el desarrollo futuro de resorts. Esperamos impulsar un mayor diálogo sobre el impacto positivo del tiempo compartido y la propiedad fraccional en el sector del turismo y la hospitalidad”, dijo Bryan Ten Broek, vicepresidente senior de Interval para ventas en resorts y desarrollo de negocios.

El programa del encuentro contará con la presencia de líderes de la industria como el principal orador, Peter C. Yesawich, reconocido estratega de marketing e investigador de los Estados Unidos, que se centrará en los más recientes estudios sobre tendencias de viaje y su impacto en el Caribe.

“La demanda de viajes de ocio se está recuperando y augura buenos resultados para la industria de la propiedad compartida en el año por transcurrir”, ha expresado Yesawich. “Cuando finalmente se salga de los efectos residuales de la recesión, será en escenarios totalmente nuevos”, agregó, y precisó que a esto se referirá en su intervención.

Otros temas que serán abordados en la reunión organizada por Interval son el tiempo compartido y segmentos fraccionales de propiedad compartida, el estado de la industria en el Caribe, desarrollo y conversión de propiedad, financiamiento, ventas y marketing, y cómo la propiedad compartida puede impulsar el éxito de un uso mixto.

Mango Bay Hotel has recently undergone refurbishment and extension has already re-opened with great reviews. This boutique hotel is an all-inclusive Caribbean hotel and guests will have everything that they need and want in one hotel. It enjoys a sought-after beachfront setting in St. James, on the famous west coast of Barbados.

The hotel offers 76 spacious and uniquely-designed guest accommodations boasts private balconies or patios. Guests can choose from the standard room, standard 1-bedroom apartment, superior room, deluxe room, ocean front room and the penthouse suite as their accommodation. Each of the rooms have air conditioning, CD clock/radio, color TV with cable connection, hairdryer, in-room electronic safe, iron and ironing board, coffee/tea making facilities and wireless internet access. Just note that each of the rooms is not furnished identically for uniqueness. Rates include breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and all beverages except specialty wines, champagne and bottled water. Water skiing, kayaking, snorkeling, pedal boats, a glass bottom boat ride, a catamaran trip to snorkel with the turtles and a trip into Bridgetown are also included. Children 3 years and under, sharing with 2 adults, are accommodated free of charge. A supplement applies to children 4 years and over. Cribs, extra beds and high chairs are available at no extra cost. Children’s menus are available in the restaurant and earlier meal times can be arranged.

For fine dining, Mango Bay Hotel’s restaurant offer guests a choice of open air dining and air conditioned dining. Meals are a mixture of buffet and table d’hôte options and feature a fusion of Caribbean and International cuisine. The hotel’s bar is open from 10am up to midnight and serves a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Located adjacent to the lobby is the mini gym which is equipped with a range of exercise machines for cardio and muscle toning. For the ultimate relaxation of body and mind, you can head to the hotel’s Elemental Spa. The spa offers facials, massages and skin treatments.

The beach is just in front of the hotel and guests can just walk to it. Beach umbrellas and chairs are available for the guests. Refreshments and picnic lunch can also be arranged to be delivered at the beach. While there is no children’s program, games are available and babysitting can be arranged. Mango Bay Hotel’s guest lounge features a 42″ plasma TV with cable, a small library, games and a computer with complimentary high-speed Internet access. There are also shower and changing facilities for guests with late departing flights. There is one free-form freshwater swimming pool at the hotel. The pool is open from 6:00am to 8:00pm daily.
